Red Wings Continue Training Camp with Annual Red and White Game

TRAVERSE CITY – The Detroit Red Wings continued their training camp with the annual Red and White Game at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City Sunday afternoon.

Free agent signing Mitchell Stephens scored first to put the Red Team in the lead 1-0.

White Team responded moments later with a score from Dominik Shine, who scores on a rebound to tie the game 1-1.

Later in the first period, Filip Hronek has an opportunity with a penalty shot, but goalie Thomas Greiss makes the save to keep it knotted at one.

Taro Hirose had a great look in the second period, but it was deflected and Stephens was there on the rebound for his second goal of the day.

Pius Sutter tied it up later and the White Team went on to defeat the Red Team 3-2 in a shootout.

The Red Wings continues their training camp schedule Monday.
