Inland Lakes Cruises To First State Semifinal Appearance

MUNISING — Inland Lakes made its first state quarterfinal appearance in volleyball since 1994 on Tuesday, and the Bulldogs were once again impressive, defeating Ironwood in three sets. They advance to their first state semifinal in program history.

The Bulldogs cruised to wins in all three sets, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-13.

They will take on Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart on Thursday in the Div. 4 state semifinal in Battle Creek at 12 p.m. The winner advances to the state championship at Saturday in Battle Creek at 10 a.m.
