Ferris State Volleyball’s Season Ends Against Hillsdale in NCAA Midwest Regional Final

BIG RAPIDS – Ferris State volleyball’s impressive season and 22 consecutive winning streak ended in the NCAA Midwest Regional Final with a 3-1 loss to Hillsdale at Jim Wink Arena on Saturday night.

After beating the Chargers in three straight sets earlier in the regular season, the Bulldogs took the first set 25-22, but fell in the next three by scores of 24-26, 21-25 and 16-25.

Senior stud Katie O’Connell wrapped up her Bulldog career with a team-high 17 kills and 16 digs in the contest.

The Bulldogs’ 2021 postseason run concludes after capturing both the GLIAC South Division Championship and the team’s seventh GLIAC Tournament Title in the last eight years along with going 27-5 overall and 12-2 in GLIAC play.
