Ferris State’s Pasquali Earns Top Division 2 Lineman Honor

BIG RAPIDS — Ferris State offensive lineman Dylan Pasquali received the Gene Upshaw Div. 2 Lineman of the Year Award, recognizing the top senior offensive or defensive lineman in the nation for Division 2.

He becomes the second straight Bulldog to earn the award after Austin Edwards won it in 2019. He helps pave the way for one of top offenses in the nation after starting every game this season.

The Bulldogs have the No. 2 scoring offense in the nation with 45.7 points per game. Their offense also averages 501.7 yards per game, which is No. 3 in the nation.

The only teams above the Bulldogs in both categories are still in the national semifinals with them. Shepherd has the highest-scoring offense and is only behind Valdosta State in total offense. Ferris State will host Shepherd on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the national semifinal.
