KINROSS – The Maplewood Baptist boys and girls basketball teams were both victorious over Mackinac Island on Monday.
The girls team beat Mackinac Island 57-45. Chloe May led the way for the Black Bears with 24 points.
The Maplewood Baptist boys team opened up a 21-2 lead to start the game and never looked back, beating Mackinac Island 71-26.
The Black Bears’ Braydon Altoft led all scorers with 26 points and teammate Luke Royer added 12 points.
