Rudyard Edges Out Sault Ste. Marie in Girls Basketball

RUDYARD – The Rudyard Bulldogs girls basketball team escaped with a one-point victory, 55-54, over Sault Ste. Marie on Friday night.

It was the first home game of the season for Rudyard, who improve to 2-0 with the victory. With the loss, Sault Ste. Marie falls to 2-1.

Sault Ste. Marie won’t have to wait long for their chance to get back in the win column. The Blue Devils will take on Mona Shores on Saturday afternoon.

Rudyard’s next game is also on Saturday afternoon against Lake Leelanau St. Mary.
