MANCELONA – After leading 33-26 at halftime, the Ellsworth boys basketball team held on to win 60-52 in a back and forth battle against Mancelona in non-conference play on Monday night.
With the win, the Lancers stay unbeaten and improve to 5-0 on the season.
Ellsworth will put their undefeated streak on the line at home versus Northern Lakes Conference foe Mackinaw City (2-1) on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Mancelona falls to 2-3 on the season and will look to bounce back against Gaylord St. Mary (2-1) in a Ski Valley showdown on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
