Former Ferris State Bulldog Nagle Named to Olympic Roster

Former Ferris State hockey player Pat Nagle was named to the 2022 United States team for the upcoming Olympics. He is one of three goaltenders and one of six players with a connection to Michigan on the roster.

Nagle becomes the sixth former Ferris State hockey player to compete in the Olympics. It will also be the third straight time that the Bulldogs will be represented in the Olympic games. Chad Billins was on Team USA in 2018, while Chris Kunitz helped Canada win gold in 2014.

Team USA will feature its youngest roster since 1994, but Nagle will be the oldest at 34 years old. The University of Michigan had four former players make the roster.

The Winter Olympics will be from Feb. 3-20 in Beijing, China. Team USA will begin competition against China in the first preliminary game on Feb. 10 at 8:10 a.m. ET.
