REMUS — Clare had its postseason run come to an end in the Division 2 district final, losing to Standish-Sterling, 55-38.
This marked the third straight postseason that Clare and Standish-Sterling met in the district final, with Standish winning the previous two. Clare last won a district title in 2014.
Standish-Sterling will face Ludington in the regional semifinal on Tuesday at Big Rapids at 7 p.m.
