Gladwin Wins State Title in Division 3 Boys Bowling

JACKSON — The Gladwin boys bowling team took home its second state title in four years on Friday, defeating Midland Bullock Creek, 1287-1110, in the championship.

JR Phillips led the Flying G’s with a 225, while Brayden Phillips bowled a 211. The team’s full results can be found on the MHSAA website. Sanford Meridian lost in the quarterfinals after placing seventh in the qualifying block.

In Division 4, Baldwin placed third in the qualifying block, but lost to Plymouth Christian in the quarterfinals.
