MISportsNow Top Plays – Week of 3/14-3/20

The high school girls basketball season wrapped up this weekend with two local teams competing in the state semifinals. Quarterfinals begin this week in boys hoops.

Taking a look back at this past week of exciting playoff basketball, we highlight the MISportsNow Top Plays.

Here’s our top five:

5. Cadillac’s Cole Jenema pokes the ball free and throws a nice hook-pass to Jaden Montague in the regional final.

4. Benzie Central’s Chaz Grundy gets the steal and goes reverse with the right hand on the lay-up against Harbor Springs.

3. McBain NMC’s Seth VanHaitsma with a great effort to keep the ball in bounds on the steal which leads to a score for Jonas Lanser.

2. Ludington’s Keelyn Laird comes up with a big-time block against Detroit Edison in the Div. 2 girls basketball state semifinals.

1. Glen Lake’s Jessica Robbins gets a tough, fade-away shot to fall for an and-one in the Div. 3 semifinals against Ypsilanti Arbor Prep.
