Sanford Meridian Takes Down Farwell for First District Title Since 1988

MT. PLEASANT — Sanford Meridian girls basketball held on to win 43-38 over Farwell to secure its first district title since 1988 on Friday.

They will play McBain in the regional semifinal in Houghton Lake on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
