BIG RAPIDS – Ferris State softball was swept by Davenport in Friday afternoon’s doubleheader, losing the first game 8-3 and the second game 6-3.
Davenport catcher Alexis Koza gave the Bulldogs trouble as she went 6-for-10 with a home run and 10 RBI between the two games.
Ferris State’s Evelyn Blood had a great day as well, finishing 4-for-8 with three RBI.
Ferris State falls to 12-23 on the season. The Bulldogs were scheduled to host Grand Valley State for a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, but those games have been postponed to Thursday, Apr. 21.
Ferris State will also host Northwood for a doubleheader on Wednesday, Apr. 20 with game one starting at 2:30 p.m.
