Sault Ste. Marie’s Faith White Signs with LSSU for Volleyball

SAULT STE. MARIE – Sault Ste. Marie senior Faith White has signed her National Letter of Intent to stay home and play college volleyball for Lake Superior State.

White helped lead the Blue Devils to a district championship this past season.

She also earned Second Team All-Straits Area Conference and All-Region honors.

White said she’s excited to bring her positive energy and hard work to Lake Superior State.

“I like cheering on my teammates and stuff and bringing in my hard work. I would describe myself as someone that likes to work really hard,” White said. “So I’m going to bring hard work to the table.”

The Lakers had three players from Sault Ste. Marie on the volleyball roster last season — seniors Kayla and Katja Wilhelms and freshman Jordyn Haller.
