Beal City Splits With Hudson in Baseball, 19-Game Winning Streak Snapped

The Beal City baseball team split a doubleheader against Hudson on Saturday, winning the first game 12-0 and falling in the second game 2-1.

A nine-run third inning paved the way for the Aggies’ run rule victory in game one. Senior Brendan Martin pitched all five innings for Beal City, allowing just two hits and striking out four.

The loss in the second game snapped a streak of 19 consecutive wins for Beal City.

Beal City is the No. 1 team in the state in Div. 4 while Hudson is ranked 17th in Div. 3.

The Aggies record this season is now 23-2. They will play a doubleheader at Lake City on Monday.
