BEAL CITY – Beal City softball cruised to a sweep over non-conference opponent Farwell, winning game one 15-3 and the second 15-4, to tally a combined 30 runs on Friday night at home.
Carlie Ehler blasted a three-run homerun in the second inning of game one to put the Aggies up 10-1.
Beal City improves to 13-7 with the wins and will host Chippewas Hills next on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Farwell falls to 12-10 overall. The Eagles are scheduled to meet Clare for a pair of games next on Tuesday.
