TRAVERSE CITY – Traverse City West’s Ally Jo McKenna scored the only goal of the game in the Titan’s 1-0 win over cross-town rival Traverse City Central on Thursday to keep West in first place in the Big North Conference.
Traverse City West improves to 5-0-2 in conference play and 8-1-3 overall this season.
The Titans have defeated the Trojans in both meetings this season, with the 3-0 first win in late April. West will face Gaylord next in Big North action on Tuesday.
Traverse City Central falls to 4-5-5 overall and 1-3-3 in the conference. The Trojans are set to host Bay City Western in non-league play on Saturday.
