MISportsNow Top Plays: Week of 5/1-5/7

There are only a few weeks remaining in the high school spring sports regular season. From diving catches to great goals, it was another exciting week across Northern Michigan.

Here’s a look at some of the week’s top plays:

5. McBain NMC’s Paige Ebels steps into a shot from the 18-yard box and puts it off the crossbar and down for the goal in the Comets’ 6-0 win over Buckley.

4. Traverse City Central’s Tessa Petty places a shot from distance perfectly into the corner for the goal against Cadillac.

3. Cadillac’s Lydia Schamanek fires a beautiful shot into the corner for the late, game-tying goal against Traverse City Central. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

2. Traverse City Central’s Reed Seabase makes a diving catch in centerfield to take a hit away from Petoskey. The Trojans would go on to sweep the doubleheader with the Northmen.

1. Autumn Lannin’s four-goal performance for the TC Bulldogs in a 7-3 victory over Grayling.
