RUDYARD — Rudyard picked up a pair of wins on Saturday to advance to the state semifinals in Division 4 baseball.
The No.3 Bulldogs started the day with an 8-4 victory over No. 4 Glen Lake to secure the regional title. Johannesburg-Lewiston won its regional over Painesdale-Jeffers, 6-4, to face Rudyard in the state quarterfinal. Rudyard picked up a 9-3 victory over the Cardinals to advance to the state semifinals.
The Bulldogs will play in the state semifinals against Riverview Gabriel Richard on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Michigan State.
