Wilkes-Krier Holds Five Stroke Lead Heading Into Final Round of Michigan Open

ACME – Patrick Wilkes-Krier has lead pretty much wire-to-wire at the 105th Michigan Open.

The Ann Arbor based PGA teaching professional shot a 2-under 70 on Wednesday to push his score to -13 for the tournament.

Wilkes-Krier stormed out to a big lead on the tournament’s first day with a -8 round one and hasn’t looked back.

Jake Kneen, the 2018 Michigan Open Champion, is in second place at -8 for the tournament. He shot a 3-under 69 in Wednesday’s third round.

The shot of the day came from Joseph Juszczyk, who holed an approach shot for eagle on the third hole. Juszczyk is in third place at -6 for the tournament.
