BIG RAPIDS – Big Rapids handed Newaygo its first conference loss of the season with a 3-0 victory Wednesday night.
The Cardinals’ three goals were scored by Tyler Neil, William Heydens and Isaiah Reidinger.
With the win, Big Rapids improves to 4-5-1 on the season and 2-1 in CSAA conference play.
Newaygo falls to 4-5 on the season and is also 2-1 in CSAA play. The Lions’ next game is at Reed City on Sep. 19th. Big Rapids’ next game is also Sep. 19th, on the road against Grant.
