Clare Posts 3-0 Shutout Win Over Shepherd

CLARE – The Clare Pioneers tuned up for the postseason with a 3-0 victory over Shepherd on Monday night.

Daniel Stevens helped the Pioneers to a 2-0 first half lead, netting both goals.

Liam Corp scored Clare’s final goal for the night in the second half.

The two teams might have to get used to seeing each other, as they’re scheduled to play again at Shepherd on Saturday, October 8^th.  They also are in the same bracket for the Division 3 District round of the MHSAA Tournament, which begins on October 12^th.

Next up for Clare is a home match with Big Rapids Crossroads on Wednesday night.  Shepherd will travel to McBain NMC on Wednesday night.
