Ferris State Sweeps Lake Superior State in Volleyball

BIG RAPIDS – The Ferris State Bulldogs topped Lake Superior State in straight sets on Monday afternoon to maintain their place atop the GLIAC standings.

After starting the season 0-6, Ferris State has won 17 of its past 20 games and is 12-2 in GLIAC play. Davenport and Northern Michigan are tied for second in the conference with 10-3 conference records.

With the loss, Lake Superior State falls to 3-11 in GLIAC play and 4-21 overall. The Lakers next game is Friday at Wisconsin-Parkside at 6 p.m.

Ferris State will host rival Grand Valley State on Friday night at 5 p.m.
