TRAVERSE CITY – The special teams play was special for Traverse City St. Francis on Friday night, as they rolled to a 59-8 District-opening win over L’anse.
The Gladiators returned a pair of punts for touchdowns in the first quarter, and they never looked back in recording their tenth win of the season.
St. Francis (10-0) will host Benzie Central next week, while the Purple Hornets finish the season with a 4-6 mark.
