Cadillac Scores Nine Goals in Big Win Over Big Rapids

BIG RAPIDS – The Cadillac offense exploded for four goals in the final 2:47 of the first period as the Vikings recorded a 9-4 win over Big Rapids in the 18th Annual 131 Cup Challenge rivalry game on Wednesday night.

The Cardinals opened the scoring with a pair of goals less than a minute and a half apart late in the first period to build a 2-0 lead.

But, the Vikings responded with four goals after that, including a pair 10 seconds apart, to take a 4-2 after the first period of play.

With the win Cadillac improves to 3-0, and they will travel to Gaylord next Wednesday, November 30th, to open up Big North play.  Big Rapids will host Monroe St. Mary on Friday, November 25th.
