Central Michigan Men’s Basketball Tips Off With Exhibition Win Over Northwood

MOUNT PLEASANT – The Central Michigan Chippewas men’s basketball team prepared for their season with an 88-61 exhibition win over Northwood on Thursday night.

Four different Chippewas scored in double figures, led by Reggie Bass with 19.  Kevin Miller chipped in with 15 points and 10 assists, while Markus Harding recorded 15 points to go with 11 rebounds.  Jesse Zarzuela came off the bench to score 17 for CMU.

Xavier Bargesser led the Timberwolves with 11 points on the night.

The Chippewas open up the 2022-2023 season with a trip to Marquette University next Thursday, November 11th.
