MARION – The Marion Eagles fought hard, but could not get revenge on Powers North Central, falling to the Jets in an 8-Player Division 2 semifinal 36-12.
Powers North Central has now eliminated the Eagles in three straight postseasons.
The Eagles finish the season with an 11-1 overall record. Powers North Central (12-0) will play Mendon in the 8-Player Division 2 State Championship Game next Saturday at the Superior Dome in Marquette.
