Traverse City St. Francis Brings A-Game in Semifinal Win Over New Lothrop. 53-8

CLARE – Traverse City St. Francis did what the Gladiators do best in a semifinal 53-8 win over New Lothrop: score early and keep that momentum, while dominating in defense.

The game started with a kick return TD from Wyatt Nausadis and it was smooth sailing from there. The Gladiators held the Hornets from getting on the board until an early second quarter touchdown followed by a 2-point conversion. That was the last time the Hornets saw an endzone.

St. Francis won their second semifinal in 10 years on Saturday and will be heading to Ford Field to take on Jackson Lumen Christi.

The Gladiators saw the Titans in week two of the regular season and took a 42-35 win, St. Francis’ closest matchup of the season.
