Oscar-Winning Director Cynthia Wade Talks About Metastatic Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, with more than 2 million new cases diagnosed in 2020. But all breast cancers are not the same. Metastatic breast cancer (mBC, also known as stage 4) cannot be cured, which means people endure treatments and appointments for the remainder of their lives.

Cynthia Wade is a documentary, commercial and film director who has won over 60 film awards worldwide, including an Oscar for Best Documentary Short Subject. She and Jessica, a patient, share stories with Good Day about the new “mBC Unspoken” program.
